Voice Lessons
Voice teacher, Audra Jones, said of her students, “Every student has something to offer and I want to help them tap into that and teach them proper technique so they can enjoy a lifetime of singing. I want them to be themselves and be comfortable with who they are as singers. I help them to focus on their strengths and find out what makes them unique. “
Audra’s own singing ability was discovered at a young age. As a result, she grew up singing and performing. As a child she won local talent shows, national pageants, and then attended the University of Central Oklahoma on a full scholarship studying Music Theatre and Opera Performance.
Audra has performed in many theme parks around the country - most recently as lead female vocalist at SeaWorld Orlando’s production of “O Wondrous Night”. She has appeared several times on TBN’s Praise the Lord. In 2011 Audra was nominated for an International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Best Female Performer. She was a finalist on BET’s Sunday Best season seven.
Currently Audra serves as the Praise and Worship leader at her church. She also appears as a guest singer in area churches and events. She enjoys teaching voice lessons and helping others cultivate their talent. Her daughter - and student - Shamariah (Mari) Jones appeared on season 16 of “The Voice”.
