  • Hold Harmless and Release

Tuition Tuition is due by the 1st of each month OR by the first day of the month of your child’s class. If tuition is not paid by due date, a $25 late fee will apply. Tuition can be paid by check or credit card at the studio, on the website via credit card, or check by mail at 303 North US Highway 27 Unit 2C  Minneola, Fl. 34715. Checks made payable to Caponis Cannolis, LLC or Caponis

Missed Classes: There are no refunds or discounts for missed classes or classes cancelled due to the weather.  A class missed due to a sickness or vacation cannot be made up. Extra rehearsal times are usually added at the end of the season, anyway, which is factored into the tuition rate

Withdrawal: Notification of withdrawal from class and requests for refund of tuition MUST BE FILED VIA EMAIL to the Studio administrator. Refunds are computed according to the date the email is received by the Studio’s administrator, irrelevant of the date of the last class attended. In cases where only a partial class tuition payment was made, the Studio’s share of the tuition is calculated on the full amount of the class tuition or monthly installment due. If a student withdrawals because of a part they have received in a musical, there will be NO REFUND and there is a possibility of not returning the following season. We strive to teach our students that all parts, whether ensemble or leads, are vital to the production and to the entire cast.

Audition Process: We try to be as fair as possible in our casting taking many factors into consideration including ability, age, maturity, and longevity. It can sometimes be hard for the children and parents to understand the decisions behind our casting choices, but we feel confident that the roles we choose for the children will help them to continue to grow in their abilities, allow them to shine as well as teach them that in theater you don’t always get cast as a lead. That is an important aspect of theater for the students to learn. It can be a hard lesson, but it is a reality of the theater world. And we feel that by casting them in a variety of roles they learn to not only appreciate theater as a whole, but it also makes them work hard to be the best performer they can be.

Waiting Area: Students should arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before their scheduled class time and be picked up no more than 10 minutes after the class ends unless arrangements have been made with the studio or a fee will be assessed. If you do arrive at class early or need to stay while another class is going on, please wait in the designated waiting room and be quiet and courteous so the ongoing class is not disrupted. Children must wait inside for their parents at pick up.

Health and Safety Policy -Parents MUST enter into the studio lobby to sign their child in…However, at pick-up, all parents will remain in their vehicle and line up car-rider style our back and wait for children to be individually released. If there is an emergency for pick up, please text us using the Remind Texting system. If you would rather pick up in the lobby, we will need to know ahead of time so we can inform our team. We will not be requiring the students to wear masks, but they will be fully supported if they would like to wear one. However, we do not encourage them to be worn during any physical or singing activity, such as learning choreography or vocal instruction. If you are requiring your child to wear a mask and would rather them not remove it at any time, we may have to remove them from high aerobic choreography scenes for their best interest. Wireless mics may be used during
the performance, but they will not be shared with another actor.

Harassment Policy: The Caponis Cannolis will not tolerate any harassment or bullying between students or the parents. Any student or parent who experiences any sort of harassment, bullying or in-appropriate behavior during classes should immediately contact the Caponis at [email protected]. Bullying is any kind of unwanted, aggressive behavior that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. This includes parents addressing our staff or volunteers, which the behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone on purpose. This can be both in person or online using social media.

Parent Observation: During classes, parents are requested to remain outside the classroom to avoid possible distraction. We will have opportunities where parents are invited into the classroom to observe occasional lessons.

Attendance: Arranging performances for all classes takes many months of preparing and hard work from the instructors and cast. If a student misses multiple rehearsals, they may be subject for removal from their role, with the exception of illnesses or family emergencies. We understand that students may have many activities at their school. Please put that into consideration before signing up with the Caponis Cannolis.

Communication and Questions: We will communicate studio news, events, performances, closing, holidays, etc. with you through email, remind texting, and our calendar page. The classes at the Caponis Cannolis run back-to-back so please try to ask instructor questions by email or phone so classes do not get interrupted. If you are not receiving any newsletters or texts, please let us know so we can see if we have your correct information. Please allow 24 hours for responses from the Caponis or our directors. All of us have full time jobs when not at the studio, so sometimes it may be difficult to respond to an email or text right away.
